Marla Anderson

Marla Anderson is an enamelist, jewelry artist and sculptor. She was born in Los Angeles and lives and works in San Diego

 

She studied fine art, metalsmithing and sculpture at UCSD, Grossmont College and Point Loma City College.  She specializes in the enameling techniques of cloisonné, sgraffito, silk-screening, stenciling, basse-taille, and champlevé.  

 

She has won several awards for her art jewelry and enameled work at the San Diego Fair.  Her emphasis is on employing her experience in sculpture, metalsmithing and glass fusion to create unique works of art for wear and display. 

 

Her work can be viewed at the Enamel Guild Studio No. 5 in Spanish Village in Balboa Park, San Diego and on her website.
